On August 17th, Mr. Reinhold Dornfeld founded “Deutsche Elektromaschinen- und Motorenbau Aktiengesellschaft” (shortened as DELMAG) by merging the precursor companies “Esslinger Holzbearbeitungsmaschinenfabrik Pflüger & Steinert” and “Walter Fischer & Co.” The initial production portfolio encompassed portable wood saws, cutting machines, electric motors with flexible shafts, and related equipment.
